Distinguished Panel Discussion
According to a 2017 report by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development there are more than 554,000 homeless people in the United States. In this presentation, a panel of people who are working in the Chico area on the issues of housing and homelessness share their experiences and their ideas for solutions. Panelists include: Laura Cootsona, Jesus Center; Emily Foxworthy, Center for Healthy Communities; Ed Mayer, Butte County Housing Authority; Patrick Newman, Chico Friends on the Street; Oscar Rodriguez, CSU, Chico alum; and Siana Sonoquie, North Valley Housing Trust.
