Student Learning Center Writing Tutor Eric Dunk gives tips to students about how to tackle the “Argument” essay requirement of the GRE exam. In this part of the exam, students are asked to evaluate the logical soundness of the argument presented by a writer. Dunk explains that this requirement is meant to demonstrate analytic skills and clear, pointed, and concise writing. He delves further into the subject by defining deductive and inductive arguments.
