Europe Union and Brexit...the Final Countdown?

On June 23, 2016, citizens of the United Kingdom voted in a referendum to remove their country from the European Union.  In their view, a move toward greater sovereignty, as the EU became increasingly bureaucratically dominant post 2008.  After an agonizing time of political flip-flopping, the UK is set to leave the EU on January 31, 2020. How did it come to this? What happened since 1975 when the UK voted to become a member of the then European Economic Community? What are the geopolitics of the situation? This presentation reviewed the “long walk to freedom” the UK has begun and where it might be going in the context of a growing multi-polar world for the EU, USA, Russia, and China.
