College students are in an awkward position of learning about the most recent and unethical crises in the world but not having the financial or physical resources to make an impact. In this presentation, Emily Arnold-Fernandez answers student questions and reminds them that she started Asylum Access out of her dining room with zero resources. Asylum Access is now a successful nonprofit that serves refugees by providing legal and community help. Throughout the presentation, she shares refugee stories about perseverance while keeping their identities protected.
