Dr. Ben Blackman describes his lab's major interests where his group tries to understand the molecular mechanisms and evolutionary forces by which populations adapt to their environments and through which new species arise. Dr. Blackman’s lab also attempts to determine if these principles of abundant complexity can be described by fundamental equations and quantitative genetics.
