The Center for Regenerative Agriculture at CSU, Chico and the
Regenerative Ag Network invite you to join us for a webinar focused on
the science and practice of regenerative agriculture systems.
Please
join us on Thursday, July 16th from 11:00 to 1:00 PST. Speakers will
be discussing approaches to and outcomes of systems-level science
conducted on regeneratively managed farms, along with the lessons
learned through years of implementing regenerative practices on diverse
operations.
Dr. Jonathan Lundgren, Ecdysis Foundation & Blue Dasher Farms
Bringing systems-level science to fuel the regenerative agriculture movement
Ecdysis
Foundation is conducting large-scale validation projects on
regenerative agriculture systems across North America. The results on
soil health, biodiversity, ecosystem function, profitability and yields
are helping to provide an empirical basis for fostering change in food
production. To accomplish this, we are rethinking how applied
agricultural science is conducted.
Ward & Rosie Burroughs, Burroughs Family Farms
Over 100 years of farming heritage and sustainable living
Over
100 years and 5 generations later, Ward and Rosie Burroughs along with
their grown children, continue the family’s farming tradition in the
northern San Joaquin Valley. What started out as a small dairy in 1906,
is now a full circle collaboration of farms that are family-owned and
operated, producing organic almonds, olive oil, milk, cheese, and
grass-based eggs and meats. Burroughs Family Farms is a collaborative
effort to offer hand-raised and sustainably-grown products directly to
consumers while protecting soil and water for generations to come.
