Prior to joining CSU, Chico as a dean in 2018, Terence Lau served 16 years at the University of Dayton in Ohio, where he was program director, department chair, and associate dean in the School of Business Administration. Prior to that, Lau was in-house counsel in Ford Motor Company's legal department in Dearborn, Michigan, for five years. From 2006-2007, he was the Supreme Court Fellow assigned to the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. Lau received his JD from Syracuse University in New York, and his BA from Wright State University in Ohio. He is the managing editor for the American Business Law Journal.
David Heinsen graduated from Chico State with a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1991, and went on to complete his MBA at UC Davis. Heinsen recently retired from Intel Corporation after 27 years in the technology industry. Until 2019, he served as vice president of finance, technology development and manufacturing group at Intel. His areas of expertise include corporate finance, managerial finance, financial planning, research and development, and revenue and pricing management. Heinsen previously served as a board member for IMS Nanofabrication AG from 2016 to 2017, and currently serves on the University Foundation Board of Governors at Chico State.
Jay Friedman currently serves as Executive Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement at Chico State. Prior to his arrival in Chico in 2018, Friedman worked as the associate vice president for alumni relations at the University at Buffalo. Friedman graduated with his bachelor's degree in communication and a master's in education from the University at Buffalo in New York.
