Dr. Michael Abruzzo retired from the Department of Biological Sciences at CSU Chico in 2004. He now spends most of his professional time helping the lay public understand science and the importance of science in their lives. His public presentations are built on the central theme that humans are a part of the environment, not apart from it. Dr. Abruzzo’s research and publications primarily focus on human chromosomal abnormalities, especially the fragile X syndrome. This presentation specifically focuses on the continuing changes of genes and environment.
