Wings and Feathers: Citizen Scientists and the World of Birds

The Gateway Science Museum welcomes back the former Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts, Dr. Sarah Blackstone. Although her doctorate is in Theatre History, she learned to observe nature from her father and being raised on the prairie in Laramie, Wyoming. Dr. Blackstone shares what she has done to be a proactive citizen scientist and how she uses that knowledge to educate others. As an avid bird watcher, her presentation is centered around what she has discovered and her greatest interests.
