Dr. Rob Davidson teaches creative writing and American literature at California State University, Chico. In this presentation, he reads excerpts from his two most recently published works of literature. His previous short fiction collections, Spectators: Flash Fictions (Five Oaks, 2017), was nominated for a Pultzer Prize. Additionally, his most recent book, What Some Would Call Lies: Novellas (Five Oaks, 2018) was regarded as, “A pair of tales that will entertain, transport, and move readers” by Kirkus Review. Davidson’s fiction, essays and interviews have appeared in ZYZZYVA, Hayden’s Ferry Review, New Delta Review, and elsewhere.
